18 mars

God morgon!

(Good morning!
When I got up it looked like snowstorm outdoors - now it is raining heavily.
I found a link to a knitted cuff of beads in Knitty called
Bauble. Theres even a knit-along in yahoo if you want to knit it - I have subscribed to it. Those who are surprised, please raise your hands?)

(I have finished my socks in Jitterbug, so now I can start with the socks that rock. I winded the yarn with Ninnis help and started knitting on the toe. After a few rows I stopped. I have no idea what I am doing. It is done with wrap & turn and short rows. I hope that his tutorial will help me: http://knitty.com/ISSUEwinter02/FEATtiptoptoes.html)

(Had time for a walk today, while Ida was at her soccerpractice. It rained and I was soaking when I came back. 2.7 km and 36 min).

If you are having problems with the toe, you are welcome to email(at yahoo.de) me directly and I can walk you through it.
I am now doing the cuff on the second sock, and it has been fun (another word for challenge?)
